What can't I do as a member?
To answer a business
request, you must first add a
business profile.
How do I edit my location?
Just click on "Change
Location" in the upper right corner
of many pages and enter the zip code
of the businesses that you would
like to see.
Will you be sending me tons of junk email?
No. We know that spam
is a constant problem and we do our
part not to be part of the problem.
The only mailings that we send out
are a newsletter to those who have
opted to receive mailings when
becoming a member and communications
for requests that have been accepted
by a requestor. You can opt
out of your communications at any
time by clicking on the "opt out"
option on any email.

and adjust your business profile at

You can attach photos, sound clips,

coupons which drive your business
promotions. Also by adding
your business to the referral
database, you are allowed to answer
any of the service requests that
come from our members...or your

How do I add my business to ProvideMeService.com?
There are 2 ways to add
your business.
1) Go to "Add Business" tab, select
your category by narrowing through the
list of categories and then adding
your business detail.
2) From provider pages, click on "Add
Your Business", narrow your category
by narrowing through the list of
categories and then adding your
business detail.What locations should I select to list my business in?
Any location that your
business services. Discounts are
given for selecting statewide or
national listings.
How do I edit my business detail?
Go to the "My Account" tab,
find your business and click on the
"edit" link.
Can I change my selected business listing locations?
Not at the current time.
You will need to add a separate
business listing to capture additional
locations once it has been already set
up.
How do I add my business to multiple categories?
At the current time you must
set up a separate business listing for
each category. A separate
payment will be required for each
business listing.

Adding A Request

What is the request section for?
The requests section is a
place for all members to request
services that are needed and then
receive multiple bids from businesses
to service that request. The
requestor can then select a business
that meets its need based on the
replies. Once accepted, the
business will be given the requestor's
contact information and then the
business can finalize agreement terms
to fulfill the request. The two
parties are then responsible for all
service agreements, terms, and
payments.
* ProvideMeService is not
responsible for any of the service
agreements that are made between
service providers and customers.
What can I make a request for?
Any service you can think of.
Even if we don't have a category that
fits, find the closest one and chances
are somebody will still respond.
How much does it cost?
It's free to all members.
How do I add my request to ProvideMeService.com?
There are 2
ways to add your request.
1) Go to "Add Request" tab, select
your category by narrowing through the
list of categories and then adding
your business detail.
2) From provider pages, click on "Add
Your Request", narrow your category by
narrowing through the list of
categories and then adding your
business detail.
Replying To A Request

Who can reply to a request for service?
Anybody who has a business
listing can reply to a request.
How do I find if my reply was accepted or denied?
Go to the "My Account" tab
and look at your reply status.
How do I contact the requestor?
Once your reply has been
accepted, you will receive an email
giving you the contact detail.
It is then your responsibility to
follow up with the requestor and
finalize negotiations with them.

How will I be billed?
All business listings will
need to be paid through PayPal.
Paypal handles all of our billing and
will automatically deduct your payment
on a monthly recurring basis.
You can cancel at anytime.What methods of payment do you take?
Most of the major credit
cards are accepted through PayPal.
You will need to first create an
account with them if you not already
have one and then use your credit
card. At this time, that is the
only payment option.
What is PayPal and how does it work?
PayPal is an independent
service that handles online financial
transactions in a secure and safe
manner. Please
check
their site for more detail about
the services they provide.
How do I cancel my business listing?
To delete your account, go to
the "My Account" tab, find the
business you want to delete, and then
click on the "delete" link. This
will delete your business from our
database.
IMPORTANT: You will still need
to also delete your PayPal account.
Use the steps below to cancel the
PayPal payments.
1. Go to the
PayPal site and login to your
account
2. Click the My Account tab.
3. Click the
History tab.
4. Click the Details of the
subscription in question.
5. Click Cancel Subscription.
6. You have successfully cancelled the
subscriber's subscription.
Can I be billed instead of having an automatic payment?
No, payments are only
accepted through PayPal.
